I would like to write e-mails in French, but can't figure out how to do the vowels with French diacritical marks -- accents and such. I receive them from others in this form, so I figure there must be a way . . . .

I use this add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/thunderbird/addon/abctajpu/

It works in Firefox too. Comme ça.
