That is a question you need to ask your scanner manufacturer

why ask scanner manufacturer. scanner work good Thunderbird must give me choice ( insert image from scanner ) when i need to insert or attach image

Scanner does not work good. it should offer scan image to email.

As far as inserting an images from a scanner, again this is something only a scanner manufacturer is going to provide.aac

I have not come across an email client that is capable of getting an image directly from a scanner. (I could be wrong)

Normally, it is a two step procedure.

1. Scan the item(s) to a folder on your computer. If necessary, perform any edits.

2. Using that folder location, include the item(s) as attachments, or insert the image into your message.
