Email sent to my primary account (optimum domain) shows in a folder in another account (outlook domain), though I never exported anything to or imported anything from any other account (each account should have only that account's emails). When I search for emails that have been sent to the primary account, they show as being sent to a third account (yahoo domain), though they were not sent there. Why is Thunderbird confusing my accounts like this, and how do I get it to stop?

  • Does Thunderbird work in TB Safe mode (see Thunderbird Safe Mode)?
  • Do you use anti-virus and firewall software? What is the version?
  • Who is the email provider?

TB works, so Safe Mode probably not necessary; it just seems to get confused about what emails came from where. I use Avira Free antivirus, v15.0.10.434 There are several email providers: AT&T, GMail, Optimum, Outlook, Yahoo.
