Can I type an email first and then import the recient's address from adress book, or only import it at the start of the email ?

Can I type an email first and then import the recient's address from adress book, or only import it at the start of the email ? I don't like putting the email address in until the email is finished and checked, in case the message accidentally gets sent before it is correct.

You can put it in any time.

Do you have the contact pane turned on? F9 turns it on and off.
