My son tried to voicemail me on Messenger but it said this browser does not support voicecalling. I have used this in the past, still on Firefox. I used to get note that a call was coming ans option to connect or discard. Now there is no option to connect. What can I do to get this service back?

This has started a few days ago. I'm running Firefox Desktop on Windows 11. Browsing is perfectly normal, until I try to watch a video in full screen mode. It plays normally for a few seconds and then my whole system freezes, with no response to any action except for hard reset. This has never happened to me before, and all other browsers I try do not demonstrate the same problem. Is there any solution other than changing browser permanently?

Firefox has "Open previous windows and tabs" ticked in Settings. I had to force restart MacOS, and upon starting Firefox again my existing windows are invisible. They are shown in the Window menu and when right-clicking the Firefox icon in the MacOS dock, however when I select one of the windows it does not become visible. Command+` does not show the windows either.

I can however open new windows.

I tried renaming xulstore.json per this old article with no effect.

How can I make the existing windows visible again?

When I play YouTube videos in Firefox, they are constantly choppy and slow, even though my internet connection is fine and other browsers (like Chrome) work smoothly. This happens with both HD and lower quality videos. I've already tried clearing cache and disabling extensions, but the issue persists. Please help me fix this.

I am encountering more and more websites with problems they attribute to Firefox. Many of them recommend using Chrome or Edge and some insist upon it or they will no longer support problems. Direct TV will no longer work with Firefox at all and they will not fix it. Several of my other regular websites will work partially, but have pages that simply will not work with Firefox. I have resisted using Chrome or Edge for years but it is getting harder and harder to do as on line systems continue to have problems with Firefox and their only suggestion is to use Chrome (which works when Firefox doesn't). Any ideas/suggestions?

When I play a video in fullscreen and type something, when I typed something in the IME and will press Esc to quit the IME, the whole fullscreen will be quitted. The expected behavior is to quit the IME only, and the fullscreen should be quitted only when there is no IMEs.

The issue has been existing for years.

The last 2 days when I have shut down my computer then restarted, my Firefox profile has disappeared, along with all my bookmarks, passwords etc. I spent several hours yesterday following all the advice here to get everything back, but nothing worked. I had to create a new profile and then import an old passwords file, which I luckily had saved in Excel. This morning when I switched the computer on, the same thing has happened. I cannot even open Firefox without creating a new profile. I get a pop up box (screenshot attached), which shows no profiles, and i have to create a new one to even open Firefox. Every time I close out of Firefox and want to go back in, I am asked to choose a profile. This has never happened before.Before i give up forever on Firefox and go over to another browser, do you have any ideas how i can stop this from happening, and get my original profile, passwords, bookmarks etc back? Thanks.

I reached out and was advised could be something wrong with the software however I believe I have the latest software as i just downloaded the browser today. I am also able to access the same site on my phone and my IPAD not sure why it wont work here.

When watching a video on a platform and the video needs to load, instead of pausing to load then play it once again, it doesn't stop, making the video audio sound so glitchy that you can't understand it

I am / was such a huge fan of Mozilla. But now I lose my qualitity of being patient. This Update window coming up more and more. But there is no way to find - especially not an easy way. I need to make a new installation of the full programme. While doing this, I lost my full bookmarks. No chance to recover after five hours. I am really mad. Really mad.

I will leave Mozilla soon, if you dont tell me, how to use your browser without trouble.

It happens on all my sights, ie: Facebook, etc.

Tonight Firefox updated itself and when the routine finished the new default-release profile did not contain any of my data including bookmarks.

I tried to launch the profile default in a new browser but this was empty too.

can anyone help me locate my data and restore it in the new profile?

I continually get error messages for webpages. I turn off my VPN, clear my history. Not sure what else I need to do. Last one was the webpage for Lindt Chocolate. Come on. Why am I getting error messages for this? I have been on this page before. There are other places also, like Macys. Getting fed up with Firefox.

After creating yesterday a new Folder, today is not in the Bookmarks under the Star. Under three bars, Bookmarks, Manage bookmarks it shows there the web pages I put there yesterday. What is going on?

It has been two times now where I will open firefox and suddenly all my profiles are gone. I have tried everything to try to get them back like trying to get "old firefox data" back or about:profiles, but there is literally nothing to recover. All of my bookmarks and passwords are fine but I have to log in to everything all over again and reset my home page with all my shortcuts. it is extremely annoying, especially when I use up all the shortcut spaces. It prompts me when I start firefox to create a profile, sign in again, and set firefox as my preferred browser. I have been using firefox for about a year and havent had this problem until a couple of weeks ago. What can i do to avoid having to do this again in the future?

I lost my bookmarks and toolbar and cannot save any new bookmarks. I found the backup for the bookmarks but I am unable to restore. I also cannot find my profile file either. What can I do?
