how to create hyperlink in email to send out

I received email with web address (appear in blue words) in it, I can just click on the address and will direct to that page. But I couldnot do this in my email send out. Is there any setting in firefox to do this. Thank you.

There is usually a toolbar button in the editor to turn a text link into a clickable hyperlink (look for a chain like button).

You can select the text and click that button to turn the link into a clickable hyperlink

If you can't find the button then hover them all to check the tooltip of each.
