virus report keeps coming after I do scan that says no problem

I keep getting a notice from Google to do a scan because I have been hacked and have a virus. I have done a Mozilla scan that reports no problem. What is going on? The message wants me to install a security app I am not familiar with.

Isn't that some fake/scam notification, like the ones pictured in https://support.mozilla.org/questions/1460221 ?
