When I am using Firefox, which has been my primary web browser for years, I find that in the past month, in addition to opening the link that I want, a separate window with information on Alaska cruises or free shipping webpages, which I am not interested in opens. Is this happening to others, and if so, are steps being made to correct this problem. I am collecting some of the extraneous links that have been popping up,

Somehow people are hacking my credit cards. I don’t know whether it’s when I’m on the Internet or when I’m shopping or it’s within my three family home here on the put another apartment.

Why provide a link to say who might see my private browser activity and then say absolutely nothing at the landing page about that subject? I an sick of that crap from all the paid by the word nincumpoops!

Firefox 140.17.0esr (32-bit), Windows 11 23H2, trying to open https://babia.to but get a blank screen. By F12 I see this error in the console:

None of the “sha512” hashes in the integrity attribute match the content of the subresource at “https://static.cloudflareinsights.com/beacon.min.js/v4bc70e2c01a94c73b74392e4234840661791215815920”.

If I open it in Chrome 140 it opens fine. What's the issue with my FF and how to have it fixed?

Is it okay to get rid of all the other browsers that I have?That might be leaked , I'll keep on getting errors and codes saying that I need to check my browser\n And try to get me to download other browsers.

My wife recently ended up on a malicious site (onlineghostaccount.com) that appeared to cause Firefox to lock up. I think it trapped Firefox in an endless loop, because it wasn't even possible to close the tab or change to a different one. The only thing Firefox would respond to is a button on the malicious page that would take her to a scammer claiming to be Apple support. Fortunately, she didn't fall for it, but Firefox was rendered unusable for her until I could help her fix the problem. The quick fix to get Firefox operational again by closing Firefox, shutting off network access, and then re-launching Firefox so the malicious page can't load works, but is not helpful to non-technical people like my wife, because she doesn't understand what's happening or what to do about it.

My question is: Is there any way that Firefox could detect this type of "endless loop" behavior before the page loads, prevent it from loading, and popping a warning to the user?

Hello, I am attempting to export a signing certificate PKCS #12 file, but I get an error message stating "failed to create back up PKCS #12 for unknown reasons". Is there anything I can do to fix this and export the certificate?
