firefox internal page colors, how to chamge

I have the latest version of Firefox. The internal page colors make it impossible for me to see the text. I can change every single web page on this planet but I am unable to change the internal page colors. Surely there must be a way to change fore and background colors. Can someone offer a suggestion or better a solution??
