When I set my homepage and close and open fire fox, my homepage changes. How do I fix this?

I click firefox, options, at general I type in for my homepage google.com, click ok, click the X in the top right corner, and reopen firefox. Then what happens is http://www.searchqu.com/406 pops up, I click the home button, but it still goes to http://www.searchqu.com/406. Can you please help?
