Videos on YouTube constantly buffer, lag, and drop frames during playback, even on low resolutions. My internet connection is fast and stable, and the videos play fine in other web browsers. I have already cleared my cache and cookies, but the issue still occurs

Firefox Settings > General > scroll down to Performance > uncheck "Use recommended performance settings" and uncheck "Use hardware acceleration when available". Restart Firefox and test YouTube again.
