Slowness issues
I have a gamer computer with all the drivers updated and recently I have switched from chrome to mozilla for privacy reasons, I installed a couple of extensions like adblocker plus, Simple Translate, Awesome Screenshot, Lightbeam and I am realizing that it is considerably much slower than chrome ... I'm going to start deleting all the extensions to see what happens ...

Start Firefox using Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode {web link}
A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Troubleshoot(Safe) Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?
