For the last few updates, Thunderbird is crashing several times a day @ ImplCycleCollectionTraverse<T> (winxp)

Is it possible that it just doesn't like Windows XP any more? Is it possible to download an earlier version to see if that stops the crashing? I'm currently running 45.7.0. I keep taking the updates in hopes that whatever is causing my crashes has been fixed, but it's not getting any better.

I don't have to be doing anything in Thunderbird to cause it to crash. A few times a day, the "Thunderbird has stopped" box pops up and I have to restart it. As long as it's working, it's fine, but this is getting annoying.

Next time it crashes (and it will, pretty soon) if I don't get a helpful answer I'll post the crash report.

Is this what you're asking for? bp-60403b32-9d7e-4cc9-b36f-a33e32170127

This was from a couple of days ago.

I'm going to have to pay more attention next time I get a crash. I often uncheck the "send in the report" box. But what I want to look at is that I think it says send the report to Microsoft and not to Mozilla. So if it's actually a Windows problem, you might not be able to help me. I'm just not sure now.

Well that one is definitely here. looking at where the crash is occurring, I will take a guess that there is some issue with the folder pane on the left.

Go to the help menu in Thunderbird and select troubleshooting information. click the show button for the profile folder. Close Thunderbird. Delete the files panacea.dat and XULStore.json.

Restart Thunderbird. That will clear the cache for the user interface and might help out with the crash.

What add-ons do you have installed?

Did that.

It hasn't crashed yet today, so we'll see what happens over the next few days.

I don't have any add-ons, just the Lightning calendar extension.

It hasn't crashed since, so at least for now it's OK.

Just when I thought it might have been OK, it crashed again.
