I can't find my back up profile via sync. It seems that it has been reset or every thing has been deleted from my online profile.

I tried to sync my profile including all my favourits and saved passwords, etc after a clean install of the Windows. I have done this several times before but this time nothing was restored. Absolutely nothing. It seems that my online profile has been reset but I haven't done it.

Sync isn't a "backup" medium.

Did you have any problems when trying to connect to Sync initially with the new OS installation?

Specifically, did you set a new Password for your Firefox Account?

Thanks The-edmeister,

I really thought it works like a backup agent - at least it has done so far. After every new installation I have entered my email and password and every thing was sorted out ! I was able to recover my favourites, saved passwords and etc.

Now I still can connect to my account but nothing is retrieved :-( I haven't change my password though.
