how to stop firefox from crashing every few seconds (while running no-script)?

Just Firefox 38.0.1 and it started crashing every few seconds. I refreshed and discovered that the problem disappeared when I disabled No Script.

I really like having the option of not letting sites steal my information. Does anyone know why this is happening or can anyone suggest an add-on like No Script?
