Firefox crashes

Whenever I try to save a internet page to my computer, firefox crashes. Just like that, it says it's not responding for a few seconds and it crashes. I tried to make a security copy of my stuff but it also crashes. It's been like this for three days and I tried pretty much anything. If it continues like this I will probably leave firefox. If anyone could help it would be appreciated.

You can try to disable hardware acceleration in Firefox.

  • Options/Preferences -> Advanced -> General -> Browsing: "Use hardware acceleration when available"

You need to close and restart Firefox after toggling this setting.
