I want to make Bcc my preference instead of To: I have tried to find the answer to this choice. I send a lot of mail to friends and don't want to broadcast their email address at their request.

I would let me know if this is possible or where am I missing where I can make this change.

The same exact problem exists in TB. For a couple years my TB automatically had BCC as the default address. If I wanted to use TO just a click did that. good practice is to send most emails as BCC so as not to broadcast all the addresses on a list to the world.

Please forward solution to bcc: donernst@comcast.net

Firefox doesn't do email, it's strictly a web browser.

If you are using Firefox to access your mail, you are using "web-mail". You need to seek support from your service provider or a forum for that service.

If your problem is with Mozilla Thunderbird, please Tag this thread as being for Thunderbird in the right-hand column of this page. This question currently is in the Firefox queue for answers.

can anyone know if a password can be stolen by a bcc? And how to tell from the full header? How are they programmed so you can tell the difference? Can you explain the programming on a bcc if your mail is being hacked?
