My online grocery supplier has decided to splurge on big print when sending order confirmation. The new version uses 3 double-sided sheets instead of one. Obviously I try to shrink, but that comes out with only a few characters per page - correctly aligned - which is not only useless but also makes the paper non-reusable. I can supply the email in question.

Today, October 9, 2022 I clicked on an update for Thunderbird. Now I can't find it anywhere on my computer. It says all shortcuts no longer refer to the account or whatever term they use. Its gone, nothing. I've lost all my emails, everything. Anyway to get anything back?

Using Supernova 115.6.0 (32-bit) I've noticed gmail inbox messages on my gmail on my android phone that do NOT show up in Thunderbird on my Windows 10 PC, which is where I mainly access mail. Not in the BUT, in the ALL MAIL folder for the gmail account, they ARE there. I am missing seeing incoming email because of this! Is there a solution???

In Thunderbird, for reasons I do not know, the messages/emails are listed, but each has a "expand" arrow next to it. When I click on it, two versions of that same emails are often presented: plain text and html. That happens with many emails as they're sent in both plain text and html.

However, this process is something I do not want. I'd like it to pick html over plain text when that is available, and otherwise just never bother with an expand arrow and letting me pick. What used to be a 1-click affair to select the next email has turned into a 3-click affair: select email, expand, select version.

Please help? Where can I alter this behaviour?

I have never seen anything like this. I went to open TB from the taskbar and the only way I can see it is a tiny thumbnail in the upper left corner of my monitor and no way to enlarge it. I closed and reopened several times , no joy. I restarted my desktop, no joy. I managed to arrow to the right from file and got to help. chose the update message. restarted but still same way. If I uninstall it will I lose everything? I was planning to migrate it to my laptop but only going to be home 1 day and afraid to try it. I could use it on Webmail for my trip but I wouldn't have my address book or all of my file folders. H E L P Please.

For private reasons I still run an early version of Thunderbird (around v60) as well as a VERY old version 20 for most internal emails - reason because later versions do not seem to allow a single INBOX for the 20+ email accounts we use and we do not want 20 accounts on the list! I also use 3 versions of Firefox for different internal sites and for testing web designs.

Firefox seems to add data to the Thunderbird profile for version 60 when it is run and I can not find why! It does not add to Version 20 profile. I can not find the profile file list anywhere but can not see why thunderbird needs files in the profile like cookies.sqlite, favicons.sqlite and places.sqlite! plus folders like gmp, startupcache, crashes, datareporting etc. On checking these are identical to the firefox files!

I also notice that Firefox 102.6ESR also seems to update Firefox 56 profile with just the favicons and places database files.

There is nothing in windows registry to account for this and each program has been individually installed and only linked through profile.ini and the -no-remote option and the profile name

A nuisance as can not find why, rather than difficult but as share profiles accross many machines, irritating. Currently solved by using ccleaner to delete all these extra files daily, but why is it happening!

Downloaded Thunderbird. Put in name, email address, and password. Then is says Configuration found on Mozilla ISP database. When I click done, it begins again checking the password.

I does this if I use available configuration or manual configuration. Hope you can help me.

On my Mac (MacOS 13.1.2 Ventura) Thunderbird won't open properly after a restart. I've tried copying the Profiles from a backup location, to no avail. I've tried re-installing Thunderbird from the ground up, which is a nuisance but I can do it ..

The problem is the Message Filters which I don't want to lose. They exist in the folder for each mail account as a DAT file and I can put them into those locations but I can't differentiate one email folder from another. I don't see anything in the DAT file that indicates which mail account it is associated with.

Help please ?

I recently installed thunderbird on new Win 11 PC when I send an email it wants to reply to a different email of mine but I want it to reply to the one I sent it from. crowther.john@neuf.fr

My company logo file is blocked when I create a new e-mail. The caption mentions that I can unblock it but that feature doesn't work. I have several instances of Firefox and this only happens on the latest addition. I have tried to change the security features but to mo avail.

When using Thunderbird the font size will change when I am working on a new document and usually when I am half way through typing the email. It is so frustrating. Why in one paragraph are there words in a medium font and in other words that are half the size and are identified as large.

Please help. It is so frustrating and time consuming to keep on rectifying the constant changes.

I use Thunderbird since years. Non problem, I'm very happy with it. Two days ago I upgraded my PC to Windows 11, and when I send some emails from one of my three accounts, while copying it in the relevant folder, the shown windows is cut on the right, as per my attached snapshot. Small defect indeed, but... :-)

Hello, I am trying to log into my thunderbird account from my home computer and it gives me this error message that maybe my username or password are wrong but I am sure it is correct . Can ou please help me

My Thunderbird email app quit receiving new messages 6/13/2023 and I've had to use a different way to get emails on my laptop (note that it works fine on my pc) I finally got around to searching for answers and noticed a Mozilla Support thread that mentioned if the Connection Security is turned to NONE then messages are received. This worked for me too, but it doesn't feel safe to keep the security turned off. What can I do?

Thunderbird is not working - I signed into my old AOL account yesterday and AOL has taken over - I want Thunderbird not AOL as my default email provider and have set it as that, but it is still not working - help please!

I am not able to connect to IRC channels because it seems like my account doesn't log in.. I recently made the account a couple of days ago through Thunderbird

I was able to notice that I was getting this error message. This is a similar message to when I try to use the web client .. I looked for how to set it up but the best that I found was instructions for chatzilla.. I was hoping to get some help.. I think that reason that they I need SASL is because IRC server doesn't like my IP address.. (I am using Mozilla VPN)
