Every time I open a youtube video in fullscreen, firefox crashes. `about:crashes` says "No crash reports have been submitted."

Some information about my system:

• Firefox version: 122.0.1 (64-Bit)
• Macbook Pro M2
• MacOS Sonoma 14.3.1

If there is a way to get more information that you would require (like logs) please describe how I access them, so I can share them.

I just wrote this blog post and someone suggested I contact you.

I have my default browser set to Firefox on Linux (Debian Bookworm). When I open an http:// or https:// URL, it opens in Firefox, but when I open a file:/// URL, it opens in Chromium. It seems that file:/// URL makes it resort to the MIME type.

Is there anything Firefox can do here or is this a Debian or freedesktop.org issue?

When I save new bookmarks I can't find them to open them. The list of folders I see in the "Choose . . ." selection is different from the list of folders l see when trying to open a bookmark. The bookmarks seem to be saving in one list but opening from a different list. How do I replace the list Firefox opens bookmarks from with the list the new bookmarks are saved in?

I am running v122.0.1 on a Mac and since the last update if I open a Facebook Messenger message which pops up at the bottom of the screen clicking the minimise or close doesn't do anything and the message stays on screen The only way to get it to close is to log out of Facebook and then log back in again. Is this a bug in this release?

macOS (and I assume Windows and Linux as well) supports local URL schemas. For instance, Apple supports the "applefeedback://" URL as a way to launch the macOS Feedback Assistance app.

If I have a link to this on a web page, or if I put it in a bookmark, Firefox will ask for confirmation and will then launch Feedback Assistant. This part works great.

But if I type that URL into the location bar, Firefox always sends it to my configured search engine. It doesn't recongize it as a valid URL. And in the popup list of suggestions, there is no option to just go there and not search for it. See the attached screen shot.

I don't want to disable location-bar searching altogether, because it is really useful, but I think there should be a way, on a case-by-case basis, to tell Firefox that I really want it to treat the entire text as a URL. The simplest approach is probably to have an extra row on the popup suggestion list that I can click on to open the text as a URL or produce an error if there is nothing in Firefox or the OS that can resolve it.

Hopefully this won't be too difficult to support. I think it would be extremely useful.

I cannot find a way to add websites to the location permissions in Firefox Windows PC. I can easily get to the "Location Permissions settings " but there is no way to add, only remove. When I display the access icon in the URL address bar, it shows " you have granted the website additional permissions" , but the site does not display in the FF Settings-Location Box, and the target website does allow me access based on location. Is there another area where location is restricted? would appreciate some help, thx.

Nie mogę zalogować się na konto Gmail poprzez stronę www.google.pl w przeglądarce Firefox. Przy próbie zalogowania się przez www.google.pl pojawia się komunikat Bad Request Error 400. Ten sam problem występuje, gdy muszę potwierdzić logowanie do innych stron internetowych za pomocą konta Google. Po prostu nie da się nigdzie zalogować. Ten problem nie występuje w innych wyszukiwarkach. I have Firefox as my default browser instead of Microsoft Edge on my HP laptop. I've tried everything under the sun to make Google my default search engine over Microsoft Bing, and no matter what it won't stop rerouting me to Bing. I can go to www.google.com and type directly in the search bar and it STILL reroutes me to Bing, even when my settings list Google as my default search engine of the search bar. Can I block Bing as a website altogether? HP support only offered to connect me with a specialized team that costs money. Please help.

Nothing helped.

I get that this default makes sense but since so many local tools don't use http there should be at least 1 working option to disable this behavior at least for certain sites.

I have the HTTP_PROXY, HTTPS_PROXY and FTP_PROXY (and their lowercase counterparts) exported and then the firefox binary is started from the shell script. The settings in firefox say it will 'Use system proxy settings'. Nevertheless I do not see the proxy being used as I can not access the web pages that need the proxy. The 'about:config' also does not show that firefox picked up any proxy related information from the shell environment.

I know the proxy address is correct because if I use brave browser instead of firefox (same shell script that launches brave) I can reach the web pages behind the proxy as expected.

On specific websites when I click on a pdf link, Firefox opens and automatically saves the file to Downloads folder without asking whether to save and where to save despite the above settings. As far as I remember, on other websites when clicking a pdf link Firefox only opens the corresponding file and doesn't save.

How can it be disabled that Firefox automatically saves PDFs?

So I've been doing this for years now, as a Youtuber I take an image file from File Explorer (Windows 10) and drag it over to upload the thumbnail to Youtube. But for some reason the last few days I can't drop the file, it just stays there with the mouse when I let go of the button. On a random page it should let me drop the file and show the image but it doesn't, and it also won't drop if I try a google image search.

I have tried this on Edge and Chrome and the problem only seems to exist on Firefox.

I have found that certain websites aren't loading properly and that images aren't being displayed whilst the majority of pages are loading properly. Can someone help me with this please?

Hi there. I use mailjet for sending email newsletters and campaigns. The images that i was uploading into the mailjet templates where displaying fine both on mailjet and when sent to mozilla firefox users.

The problem is that for 10 days now; when i upload images in mailjet and sending newsletters; the images are not displaying in mozilla. In contrast, when i use chrome everything displays fine, both mailjet and email accounts.

I had a long chat history with mailjet support and they requested to follow these instructions to fix this issue first: https://documentation.mailjet.com/hc/en-us/articles/360058211453-Why-are-my-images-not-displayed-missing-in-the-Email-Editor I did this but i had no success so they requested me to use chrome instead of mozilla. But that is not the solution of the problem because this must address all different browser users.

I cannot log in to my Gmail account via www.google.pl in the Firefox browser. When I try to log in via www.google.pl, the Bad Request Error 400 message appears. The same problem occurs when I need to confirm login to other websites using a Google account. I simply can't log in anywhere. This problem does not occur in other search engines. A login icon appears on the www.google.com website, but not all related services from Google are available - Google account, Google Play, Gmail, Meet, Chat, Drive, Calendar, and Photos are unavailable - these are just the most important ones that don't work. Cookies are enabled. On December 25, 2023, this problem did not exist. I tried to restore Firefox to an earlier installation date, but it didn't help. I uninstalled the extensions and plug-ins. Using Windows 10 22H2 and Firefox 122.0.1 Yesterday I had no problem opening the map on purpleair.com. Today I can't. Get error:

Error: Failed to initialize WebGL

TypeError: DE is undefined.

But I can open this same website map in Google Chrome browser with no problem. What changed in Firefox and how do I fix it. And why do I need to fix it, since it all works fine in Chrome

As the title states. At least half the time when you try right-click and use the "Copy" function, the option is greyed out. If you try to Ctrl+Shift+C, it opens dev tools! This happens on multiple systems that I have that are based on Debian/Ubuntu. So basically, copy functionality is broken for Firefox Linux users...

The USPS website does not work properly with Firefox!! The Home page loads okay but there are multiple other issues with links not working. For instance all of the links under Quick Tools do not work except this one: https://www.usps.com/manage/po-boxes.htm. Other things don't work either.

Everything works fine that I tried with Google Chrome though! Please address soon.
