I don't know what's happened to cause this, but for the last few days if I grab a torrent file online, I only get the option to save the file, no option to automatically open in my torrent client.

I have been to Firefox general settings, and Applications - "Choose how Firefox handles the files you download from the web or the applications you use while browsing" but .torrent is not listed. When I search "torrent" in the Applications search box, I get only "magnet" as a result, nothing for "torrent" files (see image).

Any advice on how to automatically open .torrent files from the web in my torrent client would be appreciated.

I've used gmail (with multiple email accounts) on Firefox for many, many years. I switch back and forth between my email accounts daily.

In the past few weeks, though, when I try to switch from my primary account to the others, it just defaults back to the primary. I've purged the cache, I've signed out and signed in. This does not happen on Chrome, just Firefox, which is why I've brought it here.

If I change the URL of the mailbox

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/0/#inbox

to

https://mail.google.com/mail/u/1/#inbox

It will take me to another mailbox. I can then change that number to get to the others. But it shouldn't be that way. So ... what is going on? How do I fix it?

My Grandson loaded some type of coupon app and every time I log into some type of store etc. I get this coupon discount, he said it was on Mozilla Firefox. I want to delete it but I can't find it, can you help?

It has recently come to my attention that Mozilla may not continue to support Firefox browsers installed on Windows 7 computers after Jan. 2023, when the extended support for Windows 7 ends. Is that correct?

Will Firefox continue to work, but not receive security updates after that date?

Will Firefox still work on a Windows 7 computer that gets patches from 0Patch?

i'm using FF (version 98 at the moment) to print local files. It is key to me to edit header and footer for each print! the only solution i found so far to edit them at all, is to go to about:config and for example search for print.print_headerleft. Besides that is not usable at all, it simply doesn't work! The header and footer remain the same. Please tell me how can i change header and footer?

If you delete the, in my opinion much better "page setup", why don't you include all it's funktions in the new print dialog?

another problem is the size of the new print preview! it's much to small! make it resizeable please.

Or just give us back the "page setup". That would be a big advantage over chrome and edge, which suffer the same printing problems.

Amazon.com works on Firefox on my second desktop computer and on my iPhone. It does not work properly on my primary desktop, this one It does work on my desktop using Edge. Everything in Amazon.com works on this desktop except I cannot view my previous orders, the link in the upper right corner ""returns and orders." It begins to load but the orders do not load. I cannot see any of them.

I uninstalled Firefox, ran Ccleaner to clean the registry, then it's Health feature, I probably should have restarted after doing that.

I installed a new download of Firefox twice; it fails.

I have just seen a clip on Youtube that concerns me. Is Firefox being phased out as a browser? I hope not. I have been using it for years and it is great. Please let me know. Many thanks Anthony

whenever I search something that (is / sounds like) a product amazon links or other online shopping links show up as the number 1 results after a short delay. I have been redirected to amazon many times when I tried to click the #1 result but the amazon link pops up where the #1 result was.I have uplaoded 2 images the one where steam is the #1 result is what i want it to be, the second Image is what happens after a short delay.

Dear Sir I went to an organization on 21/03/2022 for assistant on an issue, in processing the matter I need to open my yahoo mail box for the relate documents within my mail. A lady who assistant me use her lap top computer to open my mail box - I enter my pass word, then a window camp up to asked if I want to save my pass word (with dark color) or not,(with gray color) I was in a stage of rush I just click on right top Conner 'x' she took her computer to other room ( in where I can not see ) I was too naive and don't know if all of my mails had been read by them? - It is my privacy. When I got home I was worried and at next day I changed my yahoo mail pass word. As my pass words are saved within Firefox when I want to open a site it is auto fill the pass word. 1: Is my pass word will saved in that lady's computer? 2: Although I have changed my yahoo mail pass word is it safe? Can that lady able to get to Firefox to see my saved pass word and open my email box? - explore all my emails? Please help I am really worried. I look forward to hearing form you soon. Thank you. On this site: https://www.orange.pl/twojekonto/zaloguj I can't force firefox to remember username (no problem with remembering password on next step). In older Firefox without WebEx there was addon which allowed to manipulate forms to prepare proper autocompletion data. This addon is not supported with WebEx anymore due to lack of proper functions. Instead Firefox Dev Team claims that mechanism built in current Firefox is enough for such tasks and mentioned addons are not needed. Seems it is wrong thinking.

I tried different approaches to save username for mentioned site but without success.

OneDrive links recently stopped opening (browser tab shows the OneDrive icon but the page shows no content); Edge continues to open the links. I am running Firefox 99.0.1 (64 bit desktop).

When I start to type a reply to a Facebook post, the page scrolls down so that the line I am typing disappears one line below the bottom of the screen. I have to scroll down to see what I'm typing. Also, it jumps down the same way whenever I hit the backspace key to edit what I'm typing.

I discovered a previous (archived) post on this forum that suggested using "about.config" and making sure that the value setting for browser.backspace_action is equal to 2. But that didn't change the annoying behavior. Is there any other value I should try? It's not clear what the number means.

Nor did setting browser.backspace to true (or to false) seem to help with the unwanted jumping upon use of the backspace key.

This only seems to happen with Facebook, but it's quite annoying.

Is there a way that I can express my trouble using gmail in Firefox, but have the gmail accounts work fine in Chrome and Edge? In Firefox, my gmail accounts show me as LOGGED OUT, when they are supposed to be logged in, and Firefox will not allow me to log into them again. I have 3 gmail accounts, [edited email from public] @gmail.com is my most active, but none will work in Firefox anymore, but in other browsers, they work fine. All other tabs I open in Firefox, works fine, so it's only my gmail accounts, that has trouble in Firefox. What can I do to correct this?

Hi! Since yesterday, in Outlook, my font size became very tiny for subjects and categories. I can barely see it. Can you please restore them to normal sizes?? I am desperate trying to read them. Thank you! Shirley Savva
