Trying to create a new account with CRA for tax purposes, after 20 questions got a message that I need to adjust my setting regarding Java Script Function. Don't have a clue what that means

I have no audio in youtube when using Firefox only. Audio works fine in other browsers.

I am tech-challenged and this has been going on for a while, but I now really need to use youtube, but do not want to use a browser other than Firefox.

I had a computer crash - it happened when I was in the process of closing one Firefox window.

After a reload, I find that all saved passwords after 2018 have been deleted. Luckily I am one of these persons that ignores advice to regularly change a password and have managed to restore most of these from memory. However, that still leaves a gmail account and reddit that I cannot log into, nor have the passwords written down.

Nothing else has been affected. Bookmarks, recent history are all there. I was even able to do a Session Restore on the pages I had open. All that is missing is about four years of saved passwords. Even the predictive text that pops the user name into the prompt for a login has gone.

Is there any way that all the passwords that should be there can be restored? Are they sitting somewhere on the computer? I don't mind manually restoring them if need be but I would like to get into these accounts.

Hi, when I visit some websites, the pages do not work properly. The page does not want to upload properly and links on the page do not work. Can't log in to a page I have the latest version installed.

So I have this issue with my Firefox install on my PC. For one reason or another Google services (Gmail, search, etc) do not seem to always work. They have moments where they will search or load emails, but most of the time they spin, give an error in gmail, or just won't try searching at all (hit search and just dead and blank screen).

[Oops... the system encountered a problem (#001) - Retrying..] - one of the errors commonly seen in gmail.

All I run is Ublock Origin, Keepa (amazon price tracking) and LastPass.

I've tried a total uninstall using Reva Uninstaller so it deletes remaining files. Chrome does work just fine, so it doesn't seem to be any sort of firewall or anything blocking it. I've tried going into about:serviceworkers as I saw there was an old bug having to clear out google services in there. It does maybe help at first, but they come back and it doesn't always fix it anyway.

Is there anything else I'm missing?

"Open previous windows and tabs" is checked but it's not working. I had to go to history and opened it. It's happening for the last several weeks.

I use Kaspersky for my internet security. I choose the 'Safe Money' option for many other sites...but cannot connect sign on with my bank. Because the page always comes up asking for me to choose a browser. I down load and update the firefox site. This does nothing except giving me multiple firefox updates! What is happening and how can I stop having this issue pop up? The other sites on 'Safe Money' are not banking sites, but still need security. Do I have to change browsers? I am trying to add my Android phone as a device to Firefox. I initially invoked the code scanner next to the search bar, but got a message saying that the code had to be scanned from within the Firefox app. So I installed the app and followed these instructions entitled "Connect Another Device".

• If you haven't already, install Firefox on your mobile device. • Open Firefox on your mobile device. • Open the menu, tap Settings and select Turn on Sync. • Scan this code:

There is no Turn on Sync option in the Settings menu. I have looked in every menu item that appears even remotely related to syncing with a QR code or adding a device and come up empty.

I found this exact issue in two existing questions, but neither of them had ever been answered, which makes me less than confident that mine will. If there is a Turn on Sync option in Settings, and I just overlooked it, please explain step-by-step where I can find it. If there really is no Turn on Sync option, please provide an alternate method of adding my Android phone.

Hello, I have encountered a lasting issue: Firefox' telemetry collection process causes a cmd window to pop up briefly. The windows sometimes lingers a split second later, and if I accidentally click it at that time, whatever program I'm in will get minimized and I'm back on the desktop with cmd window at front. You might want to have a look at that, I disable my telemetry for time being. Firefox version is 99.0.1 (64 bits), operating system is Win10 10.0.19043. Respond for other data you might need. A subscription service I purchased (Kine Mania TV) has on several occasions gone to a porn site. I have enjoyed many hours of wholesome TV series and movies at Kine Mania TV - but HATE it when smut shows up instead! Please advise - this is scary stuff for an old lady. I cannot removed total adblock and especially the ad for total adblock. I tried to follow the instructions, but they do not bring up the menu that they are supposed to bring up. HELP

HOW do I stop searches from happening in the URL box? This is DRIVING ME CRAZY. The URL box is not long enough to show complete results and mouse over does not work either, so I PREFER to TAKE THE RISK and search from the search box on the middle of the home page. WHY has FF taken this control away from us? If it is a security issue, I would take the risk as the current problem makes the search suggestions limited in value since you cant see the complete suggestion UNLESS you go to the site
