Is there a way in Firefox to have quicker access to saved logins than through the menu structure? The menus are four layers deep, which is frustrating as it is difficult to remember the route when only using the feature occasionally. Some websites don't respect the Firefox Password Manager, so it sometimes becomes necessary to manually find the credentials.

Is there any way to create a bookmark to the saved login section?

Is there perhaps an add-on?

I cannot disable google document viewer in Google Drive. Every time I go to open a recently downloaded PDFs in Google Drive, it invokes Document Viewer unless I specifically right click and tell it to open with Acrobat. I have disabled everything thing I know in both Chrome and Firefox, cleared the caches, rebooted, and the default behavior persists. Worse, the Document Viewer REQUIRES a complicated, infuriating sign in process that has only worked ONCE in dozens of sign in attempts. Please help with this.

So weird, in the last few days, I've had intermittent behavior using FF.

Some examples - I log into my Gmail account, and it works for several minutes and then goes unresponsive and I can't get new mail, when I click the refresh icon or refresh the browser. - Last 3 days, when I click a hyperlink in an email, a new browser tab opens, but it's blank, the url doesn't seem to pass to the new tab - When I type a search term in browser address bar and hit enter, the tab refreshes but nothing happens... e.g. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-d&q=firefox

Troubleshooting steps tried. - Disabled all extensions - Started to uninstall FF, but got prompted to "refresh firefox" instead, which I did yesterday, but still have the same problems...

I can access Gmail and other functionality works fine on Chrome on same laptop. I've used different laptop with FF and it works fine, both machines on the same network....

I haven't used my microphone in Firefox in years. I tried today, logged into Google Voice, which tells me it can't access the microphone. I set permissions in Firefox's settings. I turned up all the mic settings in alsamixer. I tried https://mdn.github.io/web-dictaphone/ , recommended in another thread here, and it doesn't record either. I can use the microphone outside X, with sox's rec. I also can't record a new greeting in Google Voice.

Firefox 100.0.2 , Linux, Slackware 64-bit, all packages updated this morning.

When I select text in Firefox the selection is not highlighted. The selection itself does work (e.g. deleting a selected word) but is not visible. The problem occurs in all fields where text can be entered, so the URL space, the search field but also text field on a page like this one. The strange thing is that the problem also occurs in Thunderbird.

I am using Ubuntu 18.04.6 LTS, Firefox 99.0 and Thunderbird 91.8.1

I'm not sure what happened in the latest update, but it broke the Canvas website that I use regularly for classes and homework. I've checked and confirmed that Canvas still works normally on Microsoft edge.

Extensions shouldn't affect the website because Canvas was working normally until the recent Firefox update.

Anyone know how to solve this problem?

I am getting Access Denied on many web sites that i have used frequently. For example, for the site https://www.apartments.com/ I get this message:

Access Denied You don't have permission to access "http://www.apartments.com/" on this server.

Hello. On some of my sites that i try to get onto with Firefox its says performing TLS handshake then it goes to Secure Connection Failed and says PR_End_Of_File_Error. I am totally updated with Firefox, plus i cleared out everything in my history. That did not help. When i tried to get onto these websites with Chrome web browser i do not have this problem at all. Why is this? I have BitDefender Total Security newest version for home. My firewall is through them along with virus protections. So can you help me out with this ongoing problem getting on some websites?

Clicking on the spacebar, does not produce a space between words, when typing text. I'm using a Mac Mini M1, on macOS Monterey (V 12.4), along with a Logitech MX Keys for Mac keyboard.

This happens randomly, for instance, on this very message. I previously posted a question regarding another problem that I came across with the same hardware and Firefox.

I found the solution to that problem by disabling an Extension in Firefox, however, I can't begin to think where to look for what setting, that may be causing my current problem.

I moved my old hard drive to a new ssd. Everything works but Firefox . I uninstalled and reinstalled when i try to use it I put in a search term hit enter and nothing happens. Also the drop down on right side nothing can be used

When I did the reinstall a error message came up about The code execution can not be found because VCRUNTIME 140-1 was not found reinstall Firefox again I did that did help

In my Bookmarks Toolbar I have created a Folder, 'News' and placed it at extreme left, next to the 'Show Your Bookmarks'. By clicking on the 'News' Folder I can see and select any of my favorite Web news sites. Very handy. Today, however, when I clicked on the News folder my 73-year-old hand accidentally dragged the News folder on top of the 'Show Your Bookmarks' icon and the News folder disappeared !! I can't figure out where it went !! Help !!

I could'nt play Netflix or Amazon videos on my Firefox browser, I have an old MacBook pro OS 10.9.5 (it's the last operating system I can use.. I have photoshop 6 and it won't work on any further OSs) I went to update Firefox, was not sure what version it was. and my computer asked" replace current version of Firefox with New" , I said yes, it did.. and then after I downloaded it, I noticed there was a circle with a slash going thru it on Firefox Icon, when I tried to open new firefox , it bascically said will not work with this OS. I could not go back and lost firefox alltogher, which also had my prefernces and autofill passwords etc. I went to Mozilla site to see if I could find an older version of firefox.. This is what I found : Firefox version 78 was the last supported Firefox version for Mac users of OS X 10.9 Mavericks, OS X 10.10 Yosemite and OS X 10.11 El Capitan. These users were moved to the Firefox Extended Support Release (ESR) channel by an application update.

I downloaded it and it said It will not work on my OS, So, How can I basically get the same firefox I had or whatever the last version that works on my computer..and best case senario save my prefernces and passwords, which maybe might have been saved somehow when I tried to change in the begining .. thanks so much for your help.

Hi New Dell Inspiron 15-3000, installed Firefox 100 in new laptop, transfered all files via LAN from old laptop All websites work ok except 2 of the 4 banking websites I use. One site will not accept my login the other will open after putting in my login twice Have gone to "troubleshoot mode" and both sites work , go back to "normal" and they do not work Any clues how to fix this, not to technical please I am not a computer whizz and all children have left home Many thanks Ron Managh

When I open gmail in Firefox browser, I lose the connection very often, it also happens with google drive. But it does not happen to me if I use Outlook from the web, I only lose the connection with Google from Firefox.

However, if I open the same thing using Google Chrome, this does not happen, it works correctly throughout the day, and I do not lose the connection.

My version of Firefox is 100.0.2 (64-bit) on my notebook I have Windows 10 Pro installed.

Hi guys, lately with one of the updates to firefox I've had something new crop up and I desperately want to get rid of it. When I save something from the internet to my computer there is a dropdown box that shows up from the downloads icon, which is on my address bar. (I'm assuming this is firefox and not windows.) It just annoys me and sometimes gets in the way. Help please?

My job requires me to download and open files in new tabs consistently. However, when I download these files, I don't want the download panel to obscure my vision. Can I disable it?

Hello, I've followed Firefox's invitation to install and update the browser on my Mac. Unfortunately the new version is not compatible with OS 10 El Capitan, my operating system, so now I can't use Firefox at all. How I do get the old version back?

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

I just upgraded from a Windows 10 PC to a new Windows 11 PC. Under W10, the Home icon appeared in the top left of the screen, to the right of the Reload icon. But as you can see, it has disappeared. How can I get it back? I have clicked around all the options I can find, but nothing...

When I click on a link to a PDF in a website, expecting it to open, it does not open. Instead, I am asked to save it to a file on my computer (apparently more or less selected at random). To open it and read it I have to navigate to that file. Not a terrible problem, but bothersome. I imagine I must have inadvertently told Firefox to behave this way.
