Prevent Firefox from remembering/displaying login names for sites which are set to not remember credentials

I regularly see suggested login names for sites such as my credit card companies. I highlight them, delete them, and days later, they are back again. I never want selected web site login pages to show suggested login names. How do I prevent Firefox from doing this.

I do wish to have user ID and passwords auto-filled for some sites. I am happy with some Forms data being remembered, such as name & address.

Suggestions ???

On Windows 10 with Fire Fox i like to use the right click to show the drop down menue 1 Save image 2 save page to pocket - and 3 - select all ,. And the next one in the drop down list is Take A Screen Shot .And this is what is not working for me anymore . Changed the Exrtension .screen.shot .dowmload ----to false with no change still the Take Screen Shot fails to work Thank you . Trevor

Why can't I access Bill Pay? How do I unblock without allowing access to unwanted ...?

Not receiving confirmation code email. I have checked the spam folder, am checking emails on three devices and have added the Firefox email to my contacts. Have tried 6 times.

cannot access one particular website. either error message 'timed out' OR 'problem loading page' appears. I have tried two browers and several search engines; removed bookmark/favorites and saved password for this site

Your advise to hold the F5 button and left click the screen refresh is not a fix to the fact that Firefox will not refresh itself most of the time on my Windows 10/64 machine. Chrome and Edge do not have this problem on my machine, and I prefer Firefox so I wish you'd fix the issue instead of offering workarounds.

I use the Dragon NaturallySpeaking add-on to navigate Firefox (and my entire computer) by voice. Recently the extension stopped working properly, and when I tried to uninstall and re-install the plug-in, it would not work at all.

When you try to click the "Install" button, nothing happens. This has caused Dragon to stop working with almost the entirety of Firefox. Please advise on if an update is coming.

After the last update to Firefox I keep getting access denied on some websites for example Lowes.com. I saw where to check security and mine is set to standard, so no joy there. I'm not a computer savvy person but I can manage with the direction and input. That being said, what can I do to fix this. I've always used Firefox but lately had to use Edge or Chrome, not my first choice. So what changed in Firefox to cause this issue as I see on your message board for several people?

When you reply, how do I know you did without me checking constantly? Do you send an email through Thunderbird to notify?

I keep trying to sign in on my new Win 10 laptop. I have been double-checking my email and password each time; I am 100% certain they are correct, as I receive an account authorization email each time I try; when it's obviously incorrect, it does not send this email.

When I enter the code I am given, I am told my password is incorrect. Okay, no problem, I still have my old device where I'm still signed in. I tried to change the password -- old password is incorrect?!

I have had the same password for much longer than what is likely recommended for security reasons. I *know* what it is and yet I'm still being told it's incorrect.

Please help me. I can't work on my projects without my browser set up properly on my new PC. It's absurd that I can't even change it on my old PC.

hello, i would like to change what page shows up when i open a new tab (to the you.com page), i tried new tab override but then the adress bar on top has the url i opened chose which is very inconvenient

I am almost about to stop using Firefox. Why is it so hard to gain access to YouTube? Never have a problem with Microsoft Edge. If a fix cannot be made without jumping through a lot of hoops and steps, I will have to stop using Firefox. Fix this mess. This problem has been around now for some time. Get it fix or accept other users switching to other browsers that seem to have no problem at all getting to and using YouTube. Very Frustrating.

Unfortunately I had to get a new laptop and it's Windows 11. I want to load Firefox as my browser (I've been using it almost since it's inception) thru the Microsoft store. I do NOT want to activate Edge which is preloaded and want's everything but my bloodtype to set up Edge so that I can go get Firefox. I've pulled up article after article that it can now be directly loaded from the Microsoft store but when I open the store and search for Firefox... it's nowhere to be found. I really don't wanna start up the edge. Anyone know what's going on with this? Or is Microsoft being it's usual sneaky self and forcing me to activate edge and then maybe firefox will show up in the store? Hopefully someone will answer this quickly as I sit here waiting to continue my setup. Thanks!!

I cannot seem to send a link of a webpage in Firefox to any email addresses I used to be able to send before. I am unsure if I have done anything in firefox to cause this. can you please suggest some ways of how I can enable this function

When I hit the install the extension button on the screen nothing happens

I did check to see if this extension was in the Mozilla Firefox extension library and no success

I can make this work with Google Chrome but I would prefer to stick with Firefox Chris Gullett - cg@printstar.biz

how do i start creating my own custom theme using css? im not looking to just change a color, i want more control of the whole firefox browser. any links for good tutorials? all ive found was tutorials on how to install custom themes but none on how to make them using css. <3
