Dragon NaturallySpeaking add-on broke
I use the Dragon NaturallySpeaking add-on to navigate Firefox (and my entire computer) by voice. Recently the extension stopped working properly, and when I tried to uninstall and re-install the plug-in, it would not work at all.
This is the installation link Nuance provides: https://dnsriacontent.nuance.com/15/setup/ffinstall.html.
When you try to click the "Install" button, nothing happens. This has caused Dragon to stop working with almost the entirety of Firefox. Please advise on if an update is coming.

Add-ons are developed and supported by people and organisations independent from Mozilla. I recommend that you contact the developer of this add-on directly through the page that you downloaded this add-on from for help with this issue.
This appears to be a Catch 22 situation! Nuance Dragon customer service told me to contact Mozilla – Firefox. When I click on the message to read install it takes me to this page https://dnsriacontent.nuance.com/15/setup/ffinstall.html. But nothing is active. I looked at the source code and searched for this "InstallTrigger.install". another useless page opens and I get this message: "In firefox InstallTrigger.install is used to download xpi file. What is used to download the crx file in chrome browser. The download should start without the user click." I prefer not to use the Chrome Browser. If . You don't have a quick fix for this. I'll transfer over to Microsoft Edge, hope it works there.
thank you very much RMatty [email]@eisaman.com

Hmm, I get the error, too. In the script in the page, they have the address of the actual add-on file:
For people who don't like to type, that's: https://dnsriacontent.nuance.com/15/ff/DgnRiaFF.xpi
So one option to install it would be to download it and then drag-and-drop it into a tab to trigger the install-from-file option.
