Hello, I've used AddBlock successfully for years but now , to my utter dismay, It has stopped functioning. I tried unsuccessfully to reset Firefox . Have just gone through the latest StartPage privacy protocol added to Firefox, but I am still beset with beastly adds. Hope you can help, Cordially, Joy

nsandi.com asks for cookie permissions on every page despite accepting cookies on previous pages.

I raised this with them and they said it was because I am using an unsupported OS, I am using Ubuntu 22.04.3 LTS and FF 117.0 (64-bit) - which they do support.

If I use a different browser, Opera One(version: 102.0.4880.40) on the same machine it is not a problem.

Is there anyway I can make this work correctly using FF?

I recently went to use my card to buy something off ebay, my card is probably in the depths of my room, so i went to check firefox, it shows the last 4 digits of my card, showing that it did save it, but i cannot access it, and i cannot use the number on the card? I would really like to retain it, can anyone enlighten me? Thanks

Thunderbird: Folder with 119 message, need to send all 119 messages to an e-mail from Local box called "Fraudfiles". I can not see any way to do this in Thunderbird e-mail.

I've got a pretty simple question here.

I do work thru a website doing data entry. One of the forms has a "copy this data to all similar fields" button. When I used to use Chrome, I could click the button and it would work with no pop-up dialogue. In Firefox, it creates the dialogue below (mozillahow2.png) asking me to confirm that I want to copy the data. It has an option to prevent the page from creating additional diologues.

I tried ticking the box but, unfortunately, this prevents the copy-to-all function in the website from working at all; it blocks the dialogue completely rather than defaulting to "yes, confirm" etc.

I'm just wondering how I can tinker around and make this work like it does in Chrome. It's a minor inconvenience but one I would like to optimize.

I'm on Arch Linux and use uinput to create key events. It works reliably for >12months in all applications and under all circumstances except in Firefox where some key events are skipped non-deterministically. My test case is:

in a text field, emit `<ctrl down>a<ctrl up>123456789987654321<left>...<left>` with 9 times `<left>`. Sometimes a 9 is missing and sometimes the cursor is further to the right than expected.

This happens every 8th try or so, which is too frequent to not break the user experience.

What I have tried: - multiple PCs (2 with this issue and 1 without) - Troubleshoot Mode - `window.onkeydown=(e)=>console.log(e)` (events are missing)

Since I've only ever seen repeated characters/keys disappear and never when writing manually, I would guess there is some kind of event cleanup algorithm kicking in. (the events are emitted without any delays)

I would really like to fix this issue because Firefox is my favorite browser. Any idea how to track it down?

I want to switch off (cancel) password save for one website. I have followed the recommended procedure and re-started Firefox, but it still saves the password after I do that. This is one set of instructions I tried following, without success:

I'm willing to debug an older release of Firefox (ver. 98.0). In order to do that, since I don't want to compile, I wanted to download the debug symbols from Mozilla's symbol server. I followed the documentation provided about this service but I still can't make the server give me something else than 404 Not Found.

From what I understood, I tried fetching symbols using this URL : https://symbols.mozilla.org/firefox/firefox-98.0-Linux-20220304153049-linux64-mozilla-release-symbols.txt

But the file doesn't exist. The /firefox sub-directory doesn't exist either.

How do I properly use this service ? Thank you for your time,

I'd really like Firefox to use my X selection buffer, or, if that's not possible then stop supporting shift+insert because the inconsistency is jarring.

In a terminal I highlight then use shift+insert to paste, but when use shift+insert in Firefox it pastes my copy buffer rather than my selection buffer. So I copy something from the web, then use shift+insert in my terminal because I'm used to that now, and I paste the wrong thing in. And I highlight something in my terminal, switch to Firefox and use shift+insert to paste it, and it pastes the last thing I ctrl+c'd.

If shift+insert did nothing in Firefox then I'd get used to it, but the switching back and forth is something I stub my toe on every day. Does nobody else feel this pain? Please fix it!

So when i visit a website that relies on changing local files, sometimes its the correct thing and others its not. I assume since im on linux it might be installing though a snap and something else. Any help would be appreciated.

I've been using firefox as my main browser and I've created a account and using it all the time for syncing the settings, bookmarks, logins, extensions etc.

BUT due to some unwanted (really irritating) search suggestion were being shown to me by firefox, I had to uninstall firefox from my system.

• • Throughout the process, I'd kept syncing ON always!!

But when I installed firefox again and after loggedin, I'm syncing everything but this is restoring (syncing) very old data which doesn't have my latest bookmarks, extenstions & saved logins!!

How DO I get my all data???

I would like to enable picture-in-picture without constantly having a popup for it anytime my cursor goes onto the video screen. You could just put a button somewhere out of the way. It's so annoying I have to just disable it, and that's not right. Nobody needs popups of any kind for anything ever. It's the same as an ad.
