Every time i open Firefox a little window comes up and says for a fraction of a second that im using an older version of Firefox (Even though that i'm using the latest) and then it crashes. I've tried everything, from reinstalling, rebooting, making exceptions in the firewall and even manually installing Firefox, but nothing. Before anyone asks, i do not have AVG, Avast or Commodo, and the Firewall is the basic Windows one. The issue is very similar to this one:https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/questions/970099. I also tried what they said, but unfortunately nothing woks for me.

I try to install Firefox on a HP Z1 G8 desktop under Windows 11 Pro. The first time I get a warning that a .dll is not available or so (I dont know what this warning is precisely, becaus it pops up for 2 seconds only ) , and firefox is not well installed, reinstalling goes without warning, but still Firefox starts and then stay dead, no sites, no settings. I know the security in this computer is very thight, but other apps install without problem and functions.

Why Firefox cant be installed where other apps can ??????

I got a new Acer laptop with windows 11 (64bit). I downloaded FF but when I open it, it just gives a blank page. If I type in an address nothing happens. I have tried reinstalling but nothing seems to work

I'm trying to access a video on meethook.live. I did so in 2021 using the Firefox browser, but for some reason, it won't work anymore. The kind people at Meethook.live suggested using Chrome or Safari, but I don't want to use either of those browsers. Unfortunately, I can't figure out how to change any settings to make it work. I tried a few security settings, dropping a few protections I had set up, but that hasn't helped. Can you suggest anything?

HP laptop isn't recognizing the wireless printer. I go through all the steps but when the screen usually shows the printer name and info. it fails to do this. Can't get any farther than this.

I have read the responses about pages white and I have tried every advices (clean cache, historial,... reinstall the last version, install a before version, nothing works. Please, I need help because I would like to continue using Firefox. Thanks

Cannot take screenshot of problem (pop up ms from Amazon via Firefox) . . as soon as I pick up the phone or attempt any action whatsoever, the message box disappears. And since I have a fingerprint access option on, the moment my finger touches the screen for full access there is no record of the message for screen capture. Also, if I do nothing, the screen goes black (normal, with time/date etc visible) within a few seconds after the message appears . . though it is waiting for me to touch the screen at which time it reappears again for a few seconds. So it is pick up the phone . . trigger motion detection . . message box appears . . wait a couple of seconds . . black screen . . touch or pick up the phone . . message box . . black screen etc. I can of course do the fingerprint scan and have full phone features, but the preliminary nag "box message" all the time bugs the hell out of me. In the text of my "complaint" I quoted what the message says, it is not from Firefox but does have a tiny Firefox logo upper left. The small rectangular window also has a left/right "full return" arrow (grayed out each one) with a black "pause" button in between the two arrows, and it is not grayed out. However nothing happens if I touch it. In very small print under the main text (first few words of my Amazon review) is a link to the Amazon page where I posted a review of a product. The message itself that I refer to is NOT from Firefox, but is comprised of the first few words of my review headline (not all of it but most) on the Amazon product comment review page. So even though the "content" of the unwanted message is from Amazon, the Firefox logo nevertheless appears (very tiny) in the upper left of the rectangular window, so it appears to be a composite error interaction between Firefox and Amazon. How to tell Firefox to stop posting it? Or how to tell Amazon that their software is somehow involved? I haven't a clue . . ! This is a re-written complaint . . the original one resulted in an email request from "Seburo" who asked for a screenshot, but did not provide a return email address that functioned. I recently purchased a dell refurbished computer, I set it up went and downloaded fire fox without any trouble. I restarted computer today and it would not accept password I called DiscountcomputerDepot.com help and they helped me to restart and they told me they would have to reinstall windows from computer. So I lost all my programs. when it restarted said would have to update windows. As of this morning, the Firefox browser on my work computer does not get access to any website - including mozilla itself. On the same computer Safari works without problems, on my smartphone and in the same wifi network my mobile Firefox works.

What is wrong?

I dont care what you are going to say to make it sound okay, it is NOT OKAY AT ALL. Mozilla Firefox supposed to be a Privacy Browser is not making business with Meta -> Facebook, lately i really question the mental health of Mozilla, first a unique identifier, now a partnership with zucking facebook, what's next? Let me tell you something, if you are a privacy company then get the zuck away from companies who don't give a damn zuck about privacy -> facebook, mozilla can NOT simply make a deal with facebook and claim "oh dont worry it's ok your privacy is secure, bullsh!t.

You know what, i have been using Firefox since i first accessed the internet with a webbrowser, now hear this -> one more negative thing from mozilla and that's it, bye mozilla you have lost your way.

While this is only me speaking here, MANY people have already quit firefox because of what mozilla has been doing recently. Continue what you are doing now, and soon your greatest product -> firefox will be dead. When privacy partners with tracking & spyware this is the definition of suicidal behaviour. I really worry about Mozillas Mental Health lately.

I generally go here https://www.tafesa.edu.au/ and select 'learn' and log in there. Now I just get a window saying 'Taking you to your organisation's log in page' and circling dots and it stays there forever. That window is, I think, from Tafesa. So it sounds like a Tafesa problem.

BUT: I use Edge and it all goes smoothly and I log in. Which sounds like Firefox is not handling something from that site.

Anyone got any ideas on what i could do to get Firefox working on this?

I am sick of the unannounced updates that occur without prompting me. Edge doesn't do this and I'm fed up with Mozilla unannounced updates. Going to uninstall Firefox because of unannounced updates.

In settings, Start-up, I have the box checked for: "open previous windows and tabs" but it doesn't work. In order to do my work I need the 23 tabs I currently have open to show up again after a reboot of the browser or computer. What gives? How long will it take to get this corrected? Suddenly, when I search the web with a topic search term, e.g. "thrombin", I get the error message: 'The page you are looking for cannot be displayed because an invalid method (HTTP verb) is being used.' Can you help me resolve this problem?

I always use the current Firefox on two Macintosh browsers running OS 10.14.6.

Recently (in only one of the computers), if I download a file, a pane containing recent downloads opens in the upper left-hand quadrant. This is distinct from the downloads portion of the "Library" area, and gets in the way of my ability to use Firefox efficiently.

I can't seem to find a way to keep this pane from repeatedly opening up as I download things. Can anyone help?
