Mine just shows a yellow header but doesn't put it into the junk folder. I have it marked in preferences to put junk in the junk folder, but it only works if it doesn't know it's junk and I click that it's junk.

Hello, I have been using Thunderbird with the Manually Sort Folders app for years. The ability to place folders and subfolders where I need them is essential for what I do. With the latest Thunderbird "upgrade", it was downgraded as the Manually Sort Folders app is no longer useable. Until Mozilla fixes it to where either the app can be used or Thunderbird is improved so that it will let me sort folders itself, I cannot upgrade. Please either render the Manually Sort Folders app useable again or make Thunderbird so that folder can be sorted. Thank you.

What folders that appear within an account can I delete? There are too many folders listed taking up too much vertical space and requiring scrolling to get to other accounts. I would like to reduce the number of folders. In the screenshot attached is a list of the folders under my account. Which ones does Thunderbird protect and which ones can I delete?

THUNDERBIRD email does not show download activity. Can't tell if there are no messages available or if there is a problem with the server. 115.8.1 64 bit on Linux Mint. Is there a setting that needs to be toggled ?

I'm using VSCode debugging plugin for Firefox in order to debug my angular web apps. The plugin states that it only works when launching Firefox with "-start-debugger-server" argument. This launches Firefox with an interface warning, recoloring search bar bright striped-red with a warning "Browser is under remote control (reason: devtools)".

I would very much like to remove this warning, since I'd like to work in this mode all the time anyways. Is there any ways to do so?

How to stop Firefox from going to an already open tab when trying to open the same site again ?

yes i want 10 tabs open on the same site, stop switching to one open tab. i discovered i hold shift/alt ti prevent this, there must be an option to disable it altogether, how?

Basically, you add a new CardDAV Address Book; and then use this link as the location https://www.googleapis.com/carddav/v1/principals/myemail@gmail.com/lists/default/ P.S I did change "myemail@gmail.com" to my actual email address.

It fetches contacts from Gmail but it won't upload contacts from TB to Gmail; which is what I need TB to do so that I can keep contacts synchronizes across multiple laptops. I only add contacts from TB and won't use Gmail to add new contacts.

Is there a something that I need to set within Gmail to get this to work or it is just not possible at the moment to synchronize in both directions?

There is a very bothersome extension that affects streaming of shows on Paramount +. It keeps reinstalling itself without asking me, to I allow it. Im attaching a screenshot of the extension, including its author, etc.

Until a few months ago I had a small icon on the right-hand end of the toolbar [the one with the URL in it] - After I downloaded a pdf to a file in Finder I could click on that icon & it took me straight to the downloaded pdf file in Finder. It was very convenient. It avoided having to go to Finder & find the recently downloaded pdf file myself so I could open it and read it. I don't know if it was an add-on or some other type of link: I just had the icon in the toolbar. Does anyone know what it was & where [or how] I can get it again?

in any other open tab, auto-hide addressbar/toolbar properly goes into hiding as soon as i begin scrolling, portrait or landscape.

ONLY IN AN ABOUT:CONFIG TAB, auto-hide addressbar/toolbar requires that i 1) scroll all the way to end of page and then 2) vigorously & multiply scroll down, through the stuck bar. any upward scroll & i have to start from scratch. portrait & landscape.

I need to create a distribution list as a backup for the Friends group that I help run. The secretary has set up a distribution list and I want to copy it in case he is unavailable. So:- Can I add multiple email addresses from his incoming email to a new distribution list / address book?

NOT one at a time, but in bulk?

In my account setup, under default identity, "Your Name" section, I have entered my first name. But when I apparently send out emails, my entire name is listed in the "from" bar.....

How can I prevent this from happening? I do not want my full name going out in any email(s).

I receive regular emails fro my federal representative and each is tagged as a scam. There seems to be no way to change the scam settings! Why not? The base address is @mail.house.gov .

I use the numerical keypad frequently and need to use "/" often, but that key shares the shortcut for "quick find" which I then have to exit and click back into whatever text box I was typing in before I can continue. The alternative is to continually move my hand back and forth to the other "/" shared with "?". Both are annoying and unnecessarily take extra time.

I would very much like to disable the keyboard shortcut attached to the "/" key on the numerical keypad.

Unbelievable - ANOTHER update and FIVE MONTHS ON and we still have this total nonsense of not being able to reduce the Message List Pane to less than ten messages. As a result, the message you are trying to view is sqeezed into less than half your screen, if there are pictures in the message it's totally useless - you can't see them properly.

Two months ago, somebody posted that they had a solution - then, NOTHING several 'updates' on.

I've been in touch directly with Wayne Mery, and he said the 'solution' had thrown up another problem. How can that be? You always used to be able to reduce the list to two or three lines. Why not just put the code back as it was?

Am I missing something? Is this some sort of conspiracy to force us to use the vertical format? I don't like the vertical look - I want horizontal!!
