Firefox used to be my go to browser in all my devices. But since the latest updates, it has been buggy and slow to the point of not being an option anymore. I have seen that there are many reviews in the AppStore pointing to this, but seems that they go unnoticed. And the fact that you have to actually go through a series of hops to get support is unbearable. There are many examples of how the application’s performance has been degraded: - when switching to another app (i.e. notepad) and then coming back, it freezes for some 20 seconds before it crashes altogether - when opening a new tab, if you want to access the menu (some call it the “burger” menu on the upper right corner), the app takes almost a full minute before displaying it. - sometimes even opening a new tab, it takes forever to respond to the keyboard entry.
Hopefully in some future versions all these issues get fixed but for now, it has been a total buggy experience.
FF is bugging out on iPhone 10, iOS 15.4.1. hangs 10 sec on every request.

I clean installed Firefox and logged in. Worked fine. Once I started sync and save it would crash instantly and keep crashing every time I opened the app.

edit: moved thread from Firefox for iOS (for iPhone/iPad) to Firefox section as you have desktop Firefox for Windows.
Not so much as a crash but a complete blocking. I have a gray curtain over my website. see below

I believe my iPhone 7+ and/or Firefox has been infected with a redirection virus. I can no longer access my Amazon account. Instead it gets switched to a Spanish language version of Amazon. I get other frequent redirects as well. Sometimes my keyboard speed drops to only one character per several seconds. I have deleted my browsing history in Firefox. Safari seems to be relatively unaffected. I am running all current versions of iOS and Firefox. Any and all assistance greatly appreciated!! Thanks, Mark

In Switzerland we have a payment App called Twint which is widely used for transferring money and payments. In most case you scan a QR code or put in a name and their mobile phone. However, when it comes to parking it accepts the QR code and then informs the user that Firefox can not deal with the financial transfer. In a telephone call with the Twint organisation this morning it was suggested that I change to Google Chrome!
What is the situation? Is somebody trying to work on a solution or did I really have to change to "Chrome" Andrew R. Nicoll ....
Firefox 112.0 (29983) Cleared website datas but still same issue. Sync is turned on
I think I've finally given up with Firefox iOS. Once again constantly crashing and all tabs lost despite clicking to recover them. Time to move on.

I do get a “Well this is embarrassing…” dialogue box for after crashing, but the app doesn’t run long enough for me to tap on anything.
Firefox not functioning on my Apple iPhone it is my default browser
