Hey everyone.

I'm a small university and I have about 200ish student stations running Windows 7 I need to deploy firefox to. Currently we use a convoluted method that involves copying a preconfigured appdata and roaming profiles, which as a result increase boot time of the windows due to the large default profile size. I have been slowly moving things over to using mozilla.cfg to set all options in there. So far I've been sucessful with the exception of I can't get the homepage to set correctly.

The other issue. The more important issue is the profile migration wizard starts every time a user logs in right now.

I have the override.ini file where I have the following options set:

[XRE] EnableProfileMigrator=False

And still the wizard starts everytime the user logs in. I've substituted false with 0 as suggested on other posts to no success. Any ideas?

You may get an answer from someone but this forum leans heavily towards assisting end users rather than dealing with Network Deployment.

I note you are using Fx25 Release, have you considered using and supporting ESR for your students

You may already be aware of CCK

You may find one of the mozillazine fora is a better source of information on this subject.
