I'm having problems with the Favicons loading up very slowly after upgrading to OS X Mavericks. I've tried completely uninstalling Firefox, and then performing a fresh install, with no luck. Am I the only one experiencing this problem? If so, what should I do to fix it?

Are they bookmark or history favicons (stored by Firefox) that are slow to appear on menus/toolbars, or "new" favicons for pages you are visiting for the first time that appear on the tab slowly?

Sorry for not being clear in my original question. The Favicons are slow to appear when I select "Bookmarks" from the menu at the top (the one with the Apple logo). It seems only the bookmarked Favicons from the Bookmarks menu load up slowly. If I look through the bookmarks in the Bookmarks Toolbar (Favorites Bar) though, the Favicons show up almost instantly.
