how do I remove or delete “top site“ entries?
some times when I am on a private site it shows up on “top sites“ and I cannot find a way to remove it.

Remove the site by unpinning :
From the Firefox start screen, long tap on the site you want to remove and then tap Unpin Site.
If you're using Private Browsing mode, sites you visit shouldn't appear in Top Sites. Are you using Private Browsing mode? If so, that's a bug I'd like to file.
