Is it possible to pause mouseover events in Firefox?

A lot of web sites now has so many dropdown windows, that it's really diffcult to move mouse cursor over the pages. And this window so big, that it's really impossible to make click on necessary link. May be there is possibility temporary to stop mouseover events in Firefox? (With settings or addons). Thanks

You can try using a JavaScript disabling extension. This may disable more than you want it to though.
