My Firefox was loading very slowly and Facebook would not load so I decided to clear all the history, which I hadn't done for a while. While this was happening, my Firefox froze so I opened Task Manager and ended it. When I opened Firefox back up, only the home page was there and when I tried going to recently closed tabs or windows, it was grayed out. I had a lot of tabs that I really want to keep. Please help. Thank you in advance.

Plus all the history was gone as well

You can check for problems with the places.sqlite database file in the Firefox profile folder.

That session is likely gone if nothing showed under "History > Recently Closed Tabs/Windows". It is best to be patient when Firefox is busy

Assuming you have not closed Firefox again, check in your currently active profile folder for older sessionstore files.

Help > Troubleshooting Information > "Show Folder" button

Copy all files whose names start with sessionstore to a safe location so Firefox won't overwrite them when you restart the browser. Can you find anything from before the forced shutdown?

I am really bad with computers. Could you explain this in a firefox-for-dummies way?

jscher2000 - I am not currently on that computer as I am not home. I will check this later. However, Firefox always reopened all of my tabs. I think it may have something to do with ending the process. I will check what you said later.
