when I click to download a mp3 file on my mac, it just runs it, won't download it

preference named media.windows-media-foundation.enabled was not found on my mac version of firefox.

hmm try changing the application used for mp3s to "Download"

Set firefox to download mp3s instead of the quicktime plugin.

reset firefox prefs

and delete a possible user.js file
