I had this problem after a recent Windows update. Any site that used Flash was impossible to use and after a very long delay, gave me the busy script dialog. The fix was:
Disable the Flash Player plugin's protected mode. See this support article from Adobe under the heading "Last Resort": Adobe Forums: How do I troubleshoot Flash Player's protected mode for Firefox?
