WHAT ARE OUR OPTIONS FOR JAVA 7 UPDATE 15.2, SINCE WE ARE NOT SUPPOSE TO TRUST IT?
FIREFOX SEEMS TO HAVE A BIG PROBLEM WITH JAVA. IS THERE ANOTHER PRODUCT YOU SUGGEST WE USE, OR DO WE SIMPLY DO WITHOUT IT? I DO NOT WANT TO USE IE, I HAVE BEEN A FIREFOX USER AND FAN FOR OVER 10 YEARS, BUT THIS PROBLEM DOES NOT SEEM TO HAVE A FIX. ANY SUGGESTIONS WOULD BE GREATLY APPRECIATED ... AND KEEP IT SIMPLE SINCE I DON'T UNDERSTAND A LOT OF THE TALK YOU GUYS DO ON HERE. THANKS

You seem upset; all caps generally is interpreted as shouting; please don't shout at the volunteers.
Which sites do you use that require Java? That would be easier to catalog if you disable it except when needed. To disable it, you can visit the following page and click the Disable button:
orange Firefox button (or Tools menu) > Add-ons > Plugins category
The Firefox developers have decided to disable all Java versions because of ongoing security issues with Java.
- bug 843373 - Please Enable CTP for all released versions of Java
(please do not comment in bug reports: https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/page.cgi?id=etiquette.html)
You can manually enable the plugins for specific trusted websites via the red click-to-play icon on the location bar.
THAT'S THE WRONG INTERPRETATION ... I ALWAYS TYPE IN CAPS!!! AND I WON'T CHANGE ... SO DEAL WITH IT!!!
update to java 10.17.2
