it crashes at random, both while i'm opening it and while it's already been open for awhile. I switched it to safe mode but it crashes just as much. The most recent crash ID was: bp-e94792dc-516a-4012-b96b-530512130117

This is version 15. Our current release version is 18. Please get the newest version so we can diagnose easier.

Disregard the previous advice to update to Firefox 18 if you are using Mac OS 10.5. The last version you can use on an Intel Mac running OS X 10.5 is Firefox 16 ... see Firefox no longer works with Mac OS X 10.5

Hopefully someone else will see something helpful in the crash report. The best I can suggest is to try the suggestions in these articles:

Trashing Firefox 15 and then installing Firefox 16 might or might not help. You can download Firefox 16 for Mac OS (English US) here: https://ftp.mozilla.org/pub/mozilla.org/firefox/releases/16.0.2/mac/en-US/Firefox%2016.0.2.dmg
