Reloaded Firefox but cannot reload previous bookmarks and toolbars, how do I rectify this?

I recently had my PC cleaned as it had contracted a virus..now having reloaded Firefox I cannot reload nor can find any way to restore my toolbar and bookmarks, although there were also unwanted search engines before and I'd like to stick with Google. Is there any way I can have my old settings back before my PC was cleaned?

Did you have your operating system reinstalled? If so you'll have to hope they made a backup of your Firefox folder. If not, you can try looking at Recovering important data from an old profile
