How do i get rid of the "Verizon Search" thingy? Everytime i try to search google with the search bar, it uses Verizon search instead of google.

Try to install the following add-on: https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/searchreset

Unfortunately you will need to manually choose the Google option.

Many Internet Service Providers and mobile phone data providers incorrectly provide a 'search service' for failed DNS lookups. Thanks for the responses. How would i go about chossing Google? I dont see anything like that under settings.
