I would like to access a page from my searches yesterday. I have google in the firefox toolbar and that is where I found the page I am now looking for. Why can I not look at the history of searches in that toolbar?

Hi,

Please try this: History (Alt + S) > Show All History, click Today or Yesterday on the top left. You can also try to search by typing in a few words on the top right.

Thanks for your help. Unfortunately my history does not present the "today or yesterday" option. It only show "older than 6 months" which is, amazingly, about as long as I've owned this computer.

Since I made the search through google on the firefox toolbar I am afraid it is buried somewhere in google and not accessible through firefox.

Thanks for trying.

peace...

Please note that the option to keep history has to be still selected in Tools (Alt + T) > Options > Privacy > Remember History or Remember my browsing history. Options > Privacy Add-ons (Tools > Add-ons) may also clear browsing history depending on their settings.
