Strange symbols instead of font on certain sites

Hi - any help gratefully received. Since a recent upgrade of Firefox to 7.0.1 I am getting strange symbols instead of text on a number of sites including parts of some sites (forms etc) this makes the sites unreadable and unusable. If I switch to Internet Explorer then the site loads fine. If I cut/paste the symbols into this dialog box for example they are again readable so this is strange. I've taken a screenshot of an example of the problem but cant send that to you as there is no facility to attach it to this message.

The page (linked below)I am currently looking at. The strange characters appear from the body text under the title; Welcome to CURSOR GRAPHICS.

Please note that this occurs on a number of sites not just this one.
