How can I stop ads appearing on BBC News with Firefox but not with Internet Explorer?
When I go to BBC News the ads, which are supposed only to appear for people accessing from outside the UK, pop up, which they don't if I use Internet Explorer. I've contacted the relevant help site of the BBC which is supposed to solve this problem, but it doesn't. My ISP is O2

Install Adblock Plus with Easylist subscription and try
Do a malware check with some malware scanning programs on the Windows computer.
You need to scan with all programs because each program detects different malware.
Make sure that you update each program to get the latest version of their databases before doing a scan.
