I managed to have the Mozilla Firefox Start Page as my start-up page. This is the page that has the option to restore session and that brings me to the Yahoo page. I have tried unsuccessfully using the Help options to get www.yahoo.com as my start-up page. What shall I do to remedy this? Use small words please, I'm of an older generation and the fancy terms elude me. =-]

Chosen solution

At the top of the Firefox window, click on the Firefox button(the orange one)

then click Options

then select the General panel

then in Start up at Home Page session type http://www.yahoo.com/

then in When Firefox starts session select Show my home page

then click OK (down in the open window) to save changes

then exit firefox and restart.
