How do I make sure Foxfilter is "examining the content" on all 3 of our computer "accounts?"

I have one computer for myself and 2 children. I'm the "Administrator" and the 2 kids have "Limited" accounts. I downloaded the Foxfilter Add-on, but it only shows that it's "examining the content" when I go online; how do I ensure that the filter is on when my 2 children go online? Do I need to download the Add-on for all three of us? Or does Foxfilter work on the whole computer, once it's been downloaded?

Foxfilter is a Firefox extension and only works with Firefox profiles where it is installed (Tools > Add-ons > Extensions).

Being a Firefox extension it is easily to bypass by starting in Safe mode, so it probably won't work if your kids are smart enough to know about that.
