I click the firefox icon in my dock and am immediately presented with a crash report. I cannot open it in safe mode, cannot get the "location bar" (so i can't go to about:crashes or the troubleshooting information page, or any other page). I tried opening it again and copied everything from the 'details' screen of the crash report which I will post below.

thanks! cam.

Hi camilapilar,
I was hoping that you or any other OSX user would recognize something. I can only understand Windows crash reports.

I still need help with this. I cannot access any of my bookmarks and so I've lost a lot of valuable information! If anyone has anything else to offer, please help!

I don't know if you've solved your problem, yet. But I've been battling these Firefox (and Thunderbrid) crashes for the past two days. I use Mac OS 10.6.8. I am now using Google Chrome (which you can download via another browser) and discovered how to import the bookmarks from Firefox. I'm enclosing the screenshot of the process. At the top you will see the little brown wrench. Click on that wrench and the menu will drop down as indicated on the screenshot. You then click on Import Bookmarks and settings and it will give you the option of selecting Safari or Firefox. I have uninstalled Firefox, but the bookmark folder is separate from Firefox and you can import it. I hope this helps.
