Bookmarks not working in "Private Browsing"

With the last automatic update to Firefox, the Google sign-in to use my Google toolbar bookmarks in Firefox "Private Browsing" mode no longer works. I can sign into Google, but the bookmarks sign-in no longer works, and the Google bookmarks are no longer accessible in "Private Browsing" mode.

I get the sign-in screen for Google Toolbar, my login appears, but the password will not activate the bookmarks in "Private Browsing" mode. The rest of the Google toolbar's features work fine. This began to happen after the most recent automatic update.
