I have switched from a PC to a Mac and would like to import my bookmarks from my PC. Is there a way to do this?

My PC operating system is Windows XP; my MacBook Pro is whatever the latest version of MAC is. I would guess that Firefox still has my bookmarks in my profile for my PC, but I'm not sure how to obtain them.

It seems like the reply doesn't address switching platforms, PC to MAC. All the information appears to be about Windows. If my PC profile was being used by Firefox when I'm on my MAC, wouldn't my PC bookmarks appear when I use Firefox on my MAC?

Since they don't, I presume they are only available through my previous computer. Is that right?

Your data can be saved onto the cloud with FF Sync. Please be careful and save your sync key somewhere when created, because they can't recovered it for you.

Once you configured Sync on your PC, force a sync by doing the ALT key on your keyboard, then go in the menu at the top -> Tools -> Sync now. Your data should be available on your mac by linking the same Sync account on your Mac.
