Volume sliders do not work on sites such as YouTube, Pandora, Stereomood, etc.

On any sites that use flash to play video or audio, I cannot adjust the volume using the slider on that sites page. i.e. If I watch a video on YouTube the volume slider does not affect the volume output. Muting does not work either. Please help.
