trying to download but will not go past the first step second installation box does not appear

When I was trying to download firefox for PC I clicked on run, Let it do its thing, then when i was waiting for the firefox setup box to appear, it didnt. I tried to start from the beginning a couple of times but it still wouldnt work

Save the file to the desktop instead of using the Run option.
Start the installation after the download has finished with a double click on that file.
