is there a way to set up the browser'a tab section to be below the address bar?

1) in the old "Firefox" versions the address bar was above the tab bar is there any way to change the gui?

2) many site have some encoding issue - is the any way to change manualy the encoding - like in windows explorer?

1/ Right-click on a toolbar, then click on the "Tabs on Top" entry to de-select it

2/ If you have the orange Firefox button displayed, click it, then select Web developer for the option to change character encoding. If you have the old style menus, the character encoding option is in the View menu.
